The Bourne is a pleasant place to live with huge richness of facilities and activities and with its easy access to all sorts of places.

If you are looking for a place to meet people who might become your friends, or even deepen your relationship with God, the local church could be a good place to start. We are fortunate to have three church centres here, each of which has its own character - and characters. Within each centre, our different activities vary widely so it is likely you will find something appropriate to your lifestyle.

But a bigger thought.

We are starting to lose our sense of community. What if the church was able to embrace everybody, including the people we find difficult or tiresome or too elegant or too ugly? What if we became the place where we valued each other in spite of, and because of humanity? What if you felt accepted without having to pass all the exams we impose on each other?

Now that would be "open".

We look forward to the opportunity of meeting you and perhaps being relevant.
