BUILD FOR THE FUTURE - ACCESS TO THE CHURCH Monday 9th November – Major Build Activity has Started
The delay with the tree protection inspection ended with permission to start works last Monday. Major build activity begins on Monday 9th November WHEN THERE WILL BE SIGNIFICANT CHANGES TO OUR USE OF CHURCH GROUNDS.
Access to the church for services and meetings groups from now on will only be through the North door at the West end, from the footpath leading to Swingate Road. The same footpath will be the only route for keyholders and the Choir to enter via the vestry lobby door.
Demolition and building at the West and South sides of the church mean that the construction works area has become very large. The builders need deliveries by large vehicles which must have room to manoeuvre, so – NO PARKING in the FRENSHAM ROAD DRIVEWAY and VERY LIMITED PARKING SPACE IN WORKING HOURS in the North part of the main car park by the big Cedar tree. NO ACCESS on Swingate Road driveway.
*** Access to the area behind the War Memorial hedge will be available through a gap in the driveway fencing in time for the Act of Remembrance.
