Fund-raising News

17th April 2010 : A fantastic night at the maltings with the Charity Rock Gig raised £3,700 (£4,700 after gift aid) which was split equally between Build for the future and Dikatole Scholarship Fund, to help pay the school fees of South African AIDS orphans. Many thanks for the 200 strong crowd who came to support this sell-out concert. Photos will be shared soon.  

21st February 2010 : The fund raising banquet, with raffle and auction, at the Bon East last Sunday (165 people present) raised £7,500 for the New Build.   This was an amazing figure which leaves only about £17,500 to complete the fitting out (original target last June was £94,000 so we have come a long way)! With very grateful thanks to Jenny Cameron-Smail for organising such a wonderful event, and for all those who attended to give so generously.

28th July 2009 :  The Tuesday Coffee Group raised £351 for the "Build for the Future Fund" with a lovely Coffee Morning in the Church grounds in the sunshine. They are the first group to achieve a fund raising event. With grateful thanks to Rosemary Mansfield and everyone involved with the event.
